For Adrianne, her philosophy in dancing is best captured in a comment she often makes: “Dancing is the only thing that when I do it, I don’t feel as though I should be doing anything else.” Adrianne has been dancing since she was very young. She has studied many styles including hip hop, jazz, swing, and modern. She then auditioned along side 70+ talented dancers for the late Jan DeWolfe who is an icon in the ballroom world. She, along side two other dancers, made the final cut. She has been a professional ballroom dancer ever since, working out of many different studios in several states. She has competed and won, yet what really drove her was teaching and seeing the progress and fulfillment in her student’s eyes. She dances ballroom now with Shane Crellin, an unbelievably talented dancer with Rhode Island University, traveling and performing for ballroom shows, a wide range of audiences, and most recently for Oberto’s Heroes Of Summer ad campaign. This past year Adrianne has began to study and dance robotics, tutting, miming, hip hop, dub step, and pop and locking with the unprecedented talented Brian Washburn at the amazing Urbanity Dance. She has many exciting dance opportunities coming up both locally and around the world and cannot wait to share!
